Calculator inputs

The figures you enter into a calculator — including any health-related figures such as height, weight or dates — are transmitted to our server to compute your result and are not intentionally retained: they are not written to a database, are not used to build any profile, and are not shared with anyone. The same applies when you use one of our calculators embedded on another website — the calculation is performed by our server under this same policy, and the host website never receives the figures you enter into the widget.

Information we collect

  • Embed registration: when you register a domain to embed our calculators, we store the domain name, your email address and your chosen calculators, for the purpose of operating the embed service, for as long as the domain remains registered.
  • Contact form: when you contact us we store your name, email address and message so we can reply.
  • Server logs: like most websites, our web server records standard technical logs (IP address, URL requested, browser type). A logged URL identifies the calculator page you visited but never contains the figures you entered, which are sent separately in the request body. Logs are used only for security and troubleshooting and are deleted on a rolling basis after a limited period.

Cookies and analytics

We do not run third-party analytics and we do not set advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookie this site sets is a strictly necessary session cookie used for security features such as form protection; it identifies your browsing session, not you, and expires when your session ends.

Advertising

The site is funded by advertising, which may include Google AdSense and clearly labelled affiliate links. Before any personalised advertising is served to visitors in the UK or EEA, we will ask for your consent through a Google-certified consent management platform, and you will be able to refuse. Third-party ad providers such as Google may then use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can learn about, and opt out of, Google's personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com. Affiliate links are labelled; if you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no cost to you.

Emails we send

We send emails only when you ask us to: domain registration and unlink confirmations, and replies to your enquiries. We do not operate marketing lists or share your email address with third parties.

Your rights

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (for example, by unlinking your domain). Contact us via the contact page.
