Here's what makes CalcAngel a little different. Every calculator page shows you the exact formula it uses, a worked example you can follow by hand, the common mistakes people make, and an honest list of the assumptions and limitations behind the maths. Where a tool relies on official figures — tax bands, National Insurance thresholds, statutory pay rates, bank holidays — we link directly to the government or official source, show you the date we last verified the numbers, and tell you exactly which tax year they apply to. The figures you type into a calculator are used to work out your result and are not intentionally retained. We don't build profiles, we don't run third-party analytics trackers, and we never ask you to create an account. You can read the full details in our privacy policy, but the short version is simple: come in, get your answer, and leave nothing behind.

Made in Britain, useful anywhere

CalcAngel is built in the UK, so wherever official figures matter our tools speak your language: pounds, UK tax years, HMRC rules, British bank holidays and UK statutory pay. That said, plenty of the calculators are universal — percentages, margins, dates, materials and conversions work the same everywhere — and where a rate or threshold might differ abroad, the fields are editable so you can substitute your own figures and still get a trustworthy answer.
