About this calculator

Deadline in sight? This calculator counts down from today to any date — total days, weeks-and-days, and the working days you actually have to do something about it. Product launches, tax deadlines, weddings and retirement all get the same honest arithmetic.

The formula

Remaining = Target date − Today (calendar days) Working days = weekdays in that span

Worked example

From 18 July 2026 to 25 December 2026: 160 days — 22 weeks 6 days, 114 working days.

Common mistakes

Planning against calendar days when only working days are productive.
Forgetting holidays inside the window — subtract them from the working-day figure.
Letting a countdown in months hide the true urgency: 3 months is only ~65 working days.
