Influencer ROI Calculator
Did that influencer campaign actually make money? Profit-based ROI.
About this calculator
Influencer campaigns get judged on vibes more than any other channel. This calculator applies the same discipline as paid ads: campaign cost (fee, gifted product at cost, shipping) against the gross profit of attributed sales — giving a profit-based ROI and the break-even revenue the campaign needed.
The formula
Worked example
Cost £800, attributed revenue £3,200, margin 40%: gross profit £1,280 → net £480, ROI +60%. Break-even was £2,000 of revenue.
Common mistakes
- Measuring ROI on revenue instead of margin — a 4x 'return' at 25% margin is break-even, not triumph.
- Ignoring the cost of gifted product and shipping in the campaign cost.
- Judging awareness campaigns purely on same-week coded sales.
Frequently asked questions
Assumptions & limitations
Attribution is inherently leaky — treat the result as a floor when codes are the only tracking.
Sources & verification
This calculator applies the standard formula published above to the figures you enter — it relies on no external statutory data. The formula and the worked example were checked by hand against each other.
